Scream and Shout – Kidz with Character

Age Range:  K-8

This interactive assembly program focuses on the concepts of Physical Fitness and Character.  Scream and Shout – Kidz with Character uses fun music and easy to follow choreography that will get boys, girls, and teachers out of their chairs, clapping their hands and stomping their feet!  Important lessons about attitude and character-building are emphasized throughout the program with a little magic, humor, and a whole lot of fun!

Students are encouraged to use their imaginations as they dance along with exciting musical favorites choreographed to be fun for any age.  With their hearts pumping and imaginations active, students are excited to focus on staying healthy and developing character.  Along with physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, this program focuses on important values to help students grow into strong and mature adults, including:  responsibility, trustworthiness, reliability, respect, caring, fairness, and citizenship. 

Before the show begins, students enter the assembly with energetic and fun background music.  The program begins with a STOMP STOMP CLAP, STOMP STOMP CLAP, and students are instantly up on their feet!   After a fun and friendly “dance-off” to capture attention and inspire a small lesson of sportsmanship, students are guided through easy to follow choreography that emphasizes physical fitness.  At times, different lessons about character are incorporated with simple magic tricks and verbal demonstrations. 

Scream and Shout – Kidz with Character is 45 minutes of fun, high-energy excitement that will leave your students motivated to become strong, healthy, caring and happy young adults.  Students will leave this program with smiles on their faces, not even realizing they’ve just had a 45-minutes cardio workout AND an inspiring lesson on becoming better people.

Michael Smith is the principle entertainer for Scream and Shout – Kidz with Character.  Mike has over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry.  As an accomplished Technical Director, Lighting Designer and Production Manager, Mike has lectured and given motivational speeches across the United States.  Mike has also consulted for and worked with a number of conventions and theatres, including the Walt Disney Company and Universal Studios.
